Texora (“we”) respects your privacy. This page describes, in plain terms, what data we collect, why, and how we process it.

1. Data we collect

• Account: email address, name, and profile picture provided by Google during OAuth sign-in.
• Content: the projects, chapters, scenes, characters, images, and other narrative materials you create or upload to the platform.
• Technical logs: IP address, user agent, error events — necessary for security and debugging.

2. How we use your data

• To authenticate you and protect your account.
• To provide app features (project storage, AI generation, exports).
• To investigate technical issues and improve stability.
• We do not sell or share your data or your content with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-party services

• Google OAuth: for authentication.
• AI providers (Mistral AI, OpenRouter): the prompts you send to AI features are forwarded to our AI providers — Mistral AI, and OpenRouter, which routes each request to the model serving it (e.g. Mistral, DeepSeek, Google) — solely to generate the response you asked for. Texora itself never uses your text to train AI models. See their respective privacy policies.

4. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request full deletion by writing to paodal@gmail.com.

5. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored on protected servers. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard it, but no system is infallible.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data by writing to paodal@gmail.com.

7. Changes

We will update this page in case of substantial changes. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the current version.
